West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Samiti intends to engage on contract basis for the post of Medical Officer (Ayush),  Staff Nurse(Female) & Pharmacist . Interested Candidates should apply online in the prescribed format as given in the Department’s website from 16th December, 2013 to 06th January, 2014 (17th January for pharmacist post) . Number of vacancies : 2151

Name of posts : 
1. Pharmacist : 441 posts
2. Staff Nurse : 746 posts
3. Medical Officer (Ayush) : 964 posts

Educational Qualification : 
1. For Pharmacist post : 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D -pharmacy) (Allpathic) from any Institute.( B-Pharma & M-Pharma holders will get additional marks).
2. For Staff Nurse post : Candidates should have completed GNM Training course from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. For Medical Officer post : BHMS/BAMS/BUMS degree from any institution recognized by respective councils of stream. Must have compulsory internship at the time of submission of application.

Age Limit : Candidates age limit should not exceeding 40 years as on 01/10/2013.


Consolidated Remuneration : 
1. For pharmacist : Rs. 16,860 Per month.
2. For Staff Nurse : Rs. 17,220 Per month.
3. For Medical Officer : Rs. 25,000 Per month.

Application Fee :
1. For Medical Officer post:
a. Unreserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 200/-.
b. Reserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-
2. For Pharmacist & Staff Nurse post :
a. Unreserved Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/-.
b. Reserved Candidates need to pay Rs. 50/-.
